Earlier this year, Tyga reportedly sued Birdman, Cash Money and Young Money Entertainment for allegedly refusing to pay him royalties.
According to The Blast, Birdman is asking a judge to throw out Tyga's entire $10 million lawsuit over royalties and claims that Tyga breached his deal with the label. Tyga claims that he was not paid royalties for his albums "Careless World and "Hotel California after he parted ways with the label back in 2016.
Things seemed to be coming around as Birdman stated that him and Tyga were working things out, Birdman even requested an extension, in order to hopefully come to a settlement discussion...but that seems to be a different story now.
Birdman's label says Tyga waited too long and the statute of limitations has passed and insists that Tyga pay all their legal fees along with requesting to have the case thrown out. Ouch!
