On an episode of her Beats 1 radio show Queen Radio, Nicki promised a gift to actor Geoffrey Owens after finding out he was shamed for working at Trader Joe's, According to TMZ, Nicki sent a check for 25,000 to Geoffrey. Instead of keeping the check for himself the actor has decided to donate the money to something that meant more to him, He donated the money to the Actor's fund in the memory of the late Earle Hyman who was also an actor on The Cosby Show who played 'Russel' Cosby's father on the show. Earle lived with Geoffrey for many years and died at his home.
Geoffrey had this to say "I am extremely grateful to Nicki Minaj for enabling struggling actors to continue pursuing their dreams."
Nicki responded saying "I'm happy to be part of the great cause. I wish Geoffrey much success and want him to know how loved he is. Rest in Peace to Earle Hyman."
Geoffrey began to receive so much attention he ultimately quit his job at Trader Joe's, he, however, has reportedly received TV offers including one from Tyler Perry on his show The Haves and The Have Nots.
